I need a hero

To all the men who like to repeatedly write/e-mail/text girls messages such as: “I miss you so much, when am I going to see you again?!”, read below.
If that girl is either your girlfriend/almost-girlfriend (does not count if you only think so)/best friend/daughter, it’s delicious and very sweet. Depends on how often you send those messages though.
If she’s not, you could as well chew off your balls, since they don’t seem to work anyway. Honestly, I’m ashamed of the fact that you call yourself men. If you have such thoughts about a girl, I sincerely advise, keep them for yourself. Do you think we like receiving those desperate, whiny, annoying messages? Please go buy a tissue and slime on yourself.
I used to think it was only a few guys, whose names I’m professionally not going to name, who acted like that, but nooooo, I was wrong. Even guys who seem tough and mature and are actually officially grown-up send desperate messages. What do you think we will do? In my eyes, you’re dead as a man if you act like that, and I know I’m not the only one who thinks like this. You’re born a man, so act like one, you snothead.
Same with men who cry for reasons I don’t think of as important. Of course you can cry if your aunt dies, but a hamster is still a hamster. My boyfriend likes to tease me with my fear of crying men, but I honestly can’t take it. The sight of a crying man is so disgusting, that I will be instantly mad when seeing it. Even if it’s fake. Warning.
Yes, I like men-men. I don’t need a second female, god no. I want a tall, broad-shouldered, Ryan-from-the-O.C, un-crying, tough man with lots of hair. He has to be protective and guy-ish, but also able to spell f-i-d-e-l-i-t-y. In short: I need a man who’s tough and strong, but who is secretely unbelievably sweet when nobody’s around. I love you, mine.
And if you’re not like this, no worries, there are plenty of women who like metrosexuals. Bwahahaha. I’m sorry.

Gays, call me.

Edit: God, I know women aren't perfect either and I'm not a bloody feminist. I just wanted to rant about those LOSERS who act like women these days.

Hamster-comment aside (although I wouldn't like to see a guy crying over his dead pet), I have to agree on this. What is it that turns normal guys into weeny-winy-monsters?? Ofcourse you can be sad, but crying is a girl-thing. Sometimes I even hate to see girls cry though, when it's a VERY stupid reason. Like: 'Oh my god, I've never truly talked to you and I barely know your name, uhm, I don't even care where you're going, but OH MY GOD I'LL MISS YOU SO BAD!!!! *sob*'. Seriously, I've seen this kind of reactions A LOT in my life, and all I can say is: get over yourself. Same with man. Please try to maintain your dignity and DON'T cry because the store's out of your favorite kind of gum. It's not right. If you really have problems, you can cry. Good thing that I don't know a lot of people that cry easily; I don't think I'd be much of a prop for those people. Oh, btw: crying because someone died in a movie or tv-show IS okay for girls. Sorry guys, we just like to be unreasonable. Stay tough. Thank you.

So yeah, I do agree with that whole annoying whiney thingy with sending emails about how much you miss someone etc. And that goes for anyone! I mean it's seriously disturbing.
But as "Marls" here said with "crying is a girl-thing" I mean what the hell? It is not a "girl-thing", it's just a human thing, anyone should be able to cry whenever they want to, I personally find that kind of attractive with a more sensitive man. Anyway I think it's stupid that men Have to be manly and like another thing Marls said: "Oh, btw: crying because someone died in a movie or tv-show IS okay for girls. Sorry guys,". Come on! Ah, it just makes me so angry.

You don't have to be manly, but for ME you have to be. And excuse me, you're gay, no? Or did I just offend you? I'm Sorry.

Haha, sorry for pissing you of, alec. I really pushed a button there, didn't I? All I'm saying is that crying CAN really bother me when it's really for no reason; guys AND girls (actually more often girls than guys, partly because I haven't met a lot of guys that cry over nothing). Of course you can cry if you want to.. But right now I'm sensing more angry-vibes than crying-vibes here :P Anyway, I just don't like seeing guys cry because someone in a soapopera died. Sorry. Like I said before: if there is actually something important going on, like when you've just heared some bad news, ofcourse it's only natural to cry. Anyway, it's not like I'm forbidding anyone to cry, so please don't kill me. I'm not as evil as I seemed.

You must see the metrosexual Southpark ep, it's really cool! Crying because of your TV emotions, don't but being emotional with things in life is human!

I almost cried when reading this. The first 5 lines of your posting I agree with. The rest is bullshit, more or less. Your heroes don't exist, yeah, in the movies and on television. The rest of us is quite normal, ordinary even. We act and behave just like human beings. Which means we sometimes cry too. So, I'm with Alec and Tom. Quit dreaming, get real. By the way, I love you.

I'm with Marls' last post on this, because you guys misunderstood me! Haha. Don't forget that I sometimes like to overreact and most of all, I like to rant. So.

Hi Imme,
I recognise the things you say,but i don't think a man isn't a man if he cries. I think when a man really cries becase something terrible's happends in his life i don't think he is a loser,,not at all,,really but that is just my opinion.

God, why does everyone keeps misunderstanding me? Of course a guy can cry if there's something REALLY IMPORTANT going on, I said that in my blog, but not for random stuff. Who are you? :)

OMG Im, HOW CAN YOU SAY THIS??? YOU INSENSITIVE MEAN CREATURE!! No just kidding. I was just trying to fit in next to the other posts :P
The point is that I can't stand fast-crying persons as well. But I hate it even more if people keep telling you that everything is okay when there's clearly something wrong. At moments like that I think: For God's sake scream, cry, do SOMETHING. So I don't know how I feel about crying people, even if they're men....
